RIP L'Wren Scott

The designer L'Wren Scott, was found dead on Monday morning. There are not many details shared with public yet, all we know so far is that her body was found in her New York apartment.

'Scott's assistant found the designer hanging from a door knob with a scarf around her neck, the official said.
There were no signs of forced entry, and police did not find a suicide note, the official said.'

This is shocking news for her family and her boyfriend Mick Jagger. The Rolling Stones frontman  was currently in Australia when the event happened. They canceled their tour, therefore they wont play in Perth on Wednesday.

This is what he shared on his website on 3/18:

“I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.
We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves.
She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me.
I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received.
I will never forget her,
Mick"

L'Wren Scott has proved that she's much more than just Mick Jagger's girlfriend

In seven years of working in fashion industry she made her name globally known as a a Fashion Consultant (She also received a credit on 2007's "Ocean's Thirteen" as actress Ellen Barkin's consultant.) and stylist. Most know her for the great job done in many collections for Banana Republic.

"I don't really jump on anything unless I believe it will deliver the quality and standards I stay true to. It is a very fun happy collection and I think it is classic and timeless and elegant," she told Vanity Fair at the introduction last October.
Although  her  business was mainly concentrated in women’s war for private clients.

What has always personally impressed me most is her silhouette. The only time I have seen her bending at the knee is in front of the paparazzi (while taking a picture of her and her boyfriend). I believe she wanted to make her partner look better, but even why she was trying to even things out everyone can tell what perfect lines she had (OHH those legs).

One last thing Fox:
Before writing this post I was doing some research, what I liked most and believe that any girl should pay attention to is her interview for Christine Whitney :

'100 pairs of shoes, 300 art books, 2 dogs and 1 cat, the designer's life by the numbers.'
Here are some of her thought while she was describing her day :
'I don't think you should push what you believe in. Doctors should do that, not fashion designers.'

'I think a girl always needs a cardigan, and I tend to go for the sparkles. I have a minimum of 50 embellished cardigans. I'm not a believer in less is more; I'm sort of a believer in more is necessary'

'I could take pets home everywhere I find them—it's a nightmare. I should definitely donate money to an animal shelter because I can't take them all home.'

"Guys understand a waistline. They understand a silhouette." That floaty shift? Save it for lunch with your girlfriends. "I dress for men," she announces, those brown button eyes suddenly boring holes. "I have to feel good, you know what I mean?"

XOXO
