AUBG Street Style

A collection of inspirational student street style photography from American University in Bulgaria.

They adore style; there is no such a thing as Crazy prints, mismatched patters, crazy hair, makeup, vintage old wrinkled clothes, ripped jeans, dirty old sneakers, hats, bags, clutches, accessories… What many consider hipsters, they call ‘fashionimation’.

I can see these stylish people in 9 am classes, Thursday nights clubbing, Sunday mornings, in the lobbies of our dorm; they are all over the place. Therefore I decided to get behind the lens this time.  I have the camera with me and eyes peeled for a great style. So AUBG –ers embrace yourself big brother (or should I say big sister) is watching you. 

Ps: Don’t get me wrong – I love procrastinating, going to the library, get lost in vogue. I appreciate all the high quality articles, beautiful models and wearing extremely expensive clothes.  But we seem to be hungry for real inspiration , and personally I feel like flipping their pages does not influence the way we dress , stand in front of the camera and shop anymore.  The success behind blogging and especially street styling relies on a concept of reality. We want to see what is beautiful on real people and with prices we can afford.
